The condo is perfect - wonderfully equipped & such comfortable, lovely & sophisticated decor - which was so appreciated. Am I the first to note the "self-closing" lids on the bathroom "TOTO's"?? WE LOVED THIS PLACE! May Guests from Wisconsin This has really been a special week for us. Our hope with this trip was a comfortable place to stay, good family time and great weather and Siesta Key and your condo delivered all 3! In the ocean we saw Manatee's, Dolphins and seahorses. We rented a boat for 4 hours from Siesta Key rentals - - which was an enjoyable diversion as we went up and down Sarasota Bay. We also took in the Mote Aquarium - - which was excellent as the kids were able to pet stingrays and see their favorite - turtles up close. The X-Box was a big hit with the kids and great for us as they would play in the morning when they got up which allowed us to sleep and it was their end of the day enjoyment. This condo is wonderfully furnished with thoughtful amenities throughout. The Broken Egg is wonderful for breakfast, although we could do without Dick Vitele & his fan worship. The Mote Aquarium is very enjoyable as is the boat tour. We hope to be back in March. March Guests from California Lovely place, beautiful view, and quiet! February Guests from New Jersey As the Mother of three and one half year old twins, I was very concerned about finding a rental property that would have "everything" to keep them happy for two weeks. All I can say is - this has done it! From the location - to the pool - to the very child friendly neighbors - to the amazing appointments provided - our stay has been perfect! My kids love your very warm home! We love it for the warmth - but also because of the amazing location! This is very much a "find!" You really have a "find" of a place!! 12/20 – 12/27 Guests from Chicago & Plano, TX After 12 years of various cities in Florida, Siesta Key is our favorite! The gorgeous beach and immaculate condo added so much to our vacation. Loved waking up and going to sleep with the sound of the waves. Enjoyed walking along the beach, exploring St. Armands Circle and dining on Longboat Key. We really enjoyed Café Blasé on Siesta Key and Dry Dock Waterfront Grill on Longboat Key. Thank you! 12/8 – 12/14 Guests from Galway, Ireland We came all the way from Ireland with four kids and stayed here for a week. What a pleasure to find a place so well equipped for a great family holiday. The kids ran around on the first day as if they were on a treasure hunt, finding DVD’s, beach toys, board games and to cap it all off – the Xbox. Thank you for thinking of all these extras! We really liked the whole area but found a lovely village on St. Armands Key. It is full of quaint shops and a perfect place to buy a momento of happy times. The waves at night were almost hypnotic and long walks first thing every morning down the beach was the most peaceful and relaxing time for my wife and I. Our suggestion would be to walk south toward Casey Key. The accommodations were fantastic. You could not have planned and convenienced anyone more than you folks did. Enjoyed dinners at Ruths Chris Steakhouse. Turtles restaurant was okay. Carrabbas was delicious. The evening cruise on Baha was great and Hal fished on the “shark boat” out of Marina Jack – we ate his fresh catch of Barracuda last night. Lily loved the pool and a few days at Siesta Key beach. What a perfect ending this morning to see 3 dolphins out the window! Thanks, we want to come back! 9/6 – 9/13 Guests from N. Charleston, SC We hate to leave, this has been a wonderful week. This place exceeded our expectations and all the extras were really appreciated! Perfect weather – we were so fortunate. We saw several manatee and we swam just 10 feet from one! We were lucky to meet Beggar the dolphin when we rented a boat for the day from CB’s. We had great dinners at Turtles, Coasters and Capt Curts but really enjoyed Tommy Bahamas at St. Armands circle. Hitting the Broken Egg for breakfast this morning before we leave – excellent food! Thanks again – we want to come back next year. 7/12 – 7/19 Guests from Georgetown, KY This week has been wonderful. Rick and I celebrated our 24th wedding anniversary on Sunday, July 13. It was great! We’ve had a rather laid back and relaxing week. We did some shopping and went to Mote Aquarium on Wednesday, which we really enjoyed. The girls, our Rebecca and her friend Karmin, loved Siesta Beach better than Turtle Beach so we drove down there almost everyday. Having this wonderful condo to come back to each evening made it worth the drive. We ate at The Old Salty Dog next to Mote Aquarium and really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food was great. We plan to return next year or 2005 and will definitely stay here again if it is available. Thanks for a wonderful and memorable week. March Guests from England We have had a great week and enjoyed the peace and quiet of the immediate area. The apartment contained everything we could possibly need. The weather was cooler than we had anticipated but as we left snow conditions in both England and Canada we couldn’t grumble! We ate at Turtles’ a few times. Saw the dolphins and the comical pelicans and a few herons. Would love to come back some day. 12/2 – 12/8 Guests from Ft. Wayne, IN The view and sunsets were absolutely beautiful! The condo was so well equipped, we felt right at home. The kids collected shells, shark’s teeth and made many sand castles. Enjoyed a wide variety of restaurants, visited Pelican Man Sanctuary and even drove one day to St. Petersburg to visit the Salvador Dali museum. So much to see and do! Hopefully we can come back soon! P.S. Just as we were about to leave we saw 2 dolphins from the master bedroom window! 9/3 – 9/10 What can we say? Your condo is fabulous. It is beautifully furnished and decorated. It is so well equipped, all we really needed to bring was our clothing. My favorite spot was the porch. Looking forward to our next visit. 9/15 – 9/22 Guests from Columbus, OH This was first trip to the gulf coast, but certainly not my last! From the minute I arrived, I knew I was in for a treat! Mother Nature had taken quite a toll on Siesta Key and the neighboring towns with “Gabrielle” - there was no electricity for the first couple of days of my stay. I spent time enjoying the incredible sunsets (the color of perfect ice cream) and then was in pitch darkness. Candles lit my way and without the distractions of television or radio I was amazed by the moon shining platinum on the waves. Even after the electricity returned, I found myself still using the candles, sitting on the lanai and being amazed at the natural beauty of this place. I also ventured out long enough to experience the melt in your mouth joy of the day’s fresh catch at local restaurants. During the day, I was kept company poolside by a gang of tiny geckos. Thank you for sharing this secret with me. I won’t soon forget it. Seaside VillasNew Years We came back…what a great spot! My favorite! We have no complaints except that we weren’t here long enough. Super weather, great food and the Beach Club was special…We shall return. September We loved it! A family reunion in the whole house, a glorious wedding, good times had by all. You have creeated a welcoming space. We did fall in love with the beautiful Siesta Key beach and hope to have other visits. We've been to Siesta Key many times and we've never stayed anywhere where every detail was taken care of like the elevator, the iron, books on Siesta Key, the Jacuzzi, the X-Box, the movies!, the books, CD's... REALLY love the unit! The birds around the back were fun to watch. One dove sitting on a nest in the palm tree and a black bird mamma teaching her baby to fly. Love the view too!! 7/10 – 7/18 The Girls from KY The past week has been one of the best weeks our group of girls has ever had. This place is absolutely awesome! Hurricane Charley ravaged our neighborhood and destroyed our home & all our belongings, beds, clothes, toys - on 8-13-04. My father lives here on Siesta Key & helped us secure a place here at the Sundance for temp. housing. We were so grateful to be here at 1st just a shower, A/C & TV was heaven. As these weeks have gone by we have been treated so nice here & it was such a nice thing after picking through our rubble in the day to sit here & BBQ & swim at night - almost surreal. Everything that you provided was such a plus, the wagon, beach chairs, and of course the kids loved the X box. It was very clean and spacious. We would like to return next spring break and are hoping the same unit is available. The location is great as far as beach access and shopping and this unit (A) is very nice – looks just like the pictures on line!! Can’t believe that we’ve been here a week already – up until today the weather has been great – just waiting for it to warm up a bit again! BUT, it’s better than January in Minnesota even when it’s cool here.
